Along with Manooghi Hi, Kent also plays keyboards in experimental twist-rock supergroup Dabouge, with ‘Pendulum’ drummer KJ Sawka, and vintage Seattle psy-rock royalty “Sky Cries Mary”. Kent hosts improv night “Sound Dialog” at Seamonster Lounge and teaches piano at the Music Factory in Madison Valley, Seattle.

Initially trained on trumpet, Kent was self-taught on piano through college and nabbed the ‘Louis Armstrong Jazz Award’ in1995. He served as keyboardist in ‘American Idol’ winner Blake Lewis’ touring band (2007-8), and has played with ‘Timbaland’, ‘One Republic’, Jordin Sparks, ‘Good Charlotte’, Ludacris, the ‘Supersuckers’, and Stephen Marley among others.
